We explored the island the following morning.
There are very few automobiles here. The primary mode of transportation is golf carts. This is island trash version of a car on blocks in the front yard.
Dinghy exploration and a visit to the swimming pigs. At first glance, we did not see any pigs. We tried calling to them and revving the dinghy engine. No luck and no pigs. Disappointed, we dinghy around a bit. We stop by a 2005 56foot Cabo Rico from Katy, Texas. Spectacular. Probably a $750K boat. Ouchers happen to them too. His boom, with a high-dollar, very heavy in-boom furler, has cracked off his mast and is lashed on with a rope. Not only a crazy expensive repair, he's got to go back to Ft Lauderdale to get it fixed and can't use his main sail at all. A single-hander. He is alone, looking for women. Craig has a woman, looking for pigs. Freak-boy assures us the pigs are still on the island and that we should have a second look. Interestingly, some Europeans have set up a camp on the beach while we have been running around. Do they not know of the pigs?
Enjoying a cold one at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club. Views of the bay from the top of the island.

Love the little piggies :) Interesting commentary on gender-determined rescue priorities: women get children and men get beer LOL
Will have to add Staniel Cay to my must-visit list - it's absolutely gorgeous - although will make note to visit in summertime so water is warm enough!
