By popular demand, here are some pictures of Craig's chest incision. For the record, there will be NO pictures of the "other" incision.
Craig is home and feeling pretty good. They pulled his pleural drains this morning and these were the source of most of his discomfort. Only two puncture holes under the dressing. His skin is stained with special preoperative betatdine that adheres to the skin and has to wear off.
Thanks to everyone for your notes, thoughts and prayers!!!

WOW! nice topless shots... exactly what his fans were dying to see.
That surgeon really did a super job on those stitches. people wont believe he even had surgery.
Great to see him home and happy. now - REST CRAIG! that's an order.
all the best from everyone - skip
Agree with Skip - some pretty fine stitching by the surgeon - I expected some heavy duty stitches or staples - guess all the heavy duty stuff holding that breastbone together is under the pretty exterior!
You're looking fantastic and we'll come up to see you once we all get over our sniffles. Maggie had a 102 fever today with sore throat but negative on both strep and flu.
Glad to hear things have gone so well but do follow Skip (and, I'm sure, Nurse Angela's orders) and rest up until things are healed properly!
Love ya - Candy
WOW, that Dr. Cai is some taylor! You look fantastic. Now let's hope you and Angela just don't kill each other over the next few weeks.
Ooops, forgot I have an alias in the blogosphere.
Kaleida = KD
Now how are we suppose to make fun of that scar and draw Frankenstein faces on your chest... that stitch job is too nice to ridicule !!
Glad all is well...keep up the nice recovery !
hugs and kisses
(notice I've dropped the pea green envy in my signature these days) :) heheheh
karen
I think that Captain Craig just wanted cleavage. And he got it. Yeah!! Looks like things are going well. And we have been thinking of you both!
Rest - heal - take care of yourselves and hug each other.
Love,
Sue and Dan
ps I am SO jealous of that cleavage. You need to get me the name of that surgeon!!
Really? Really??? Did we really need to see that. All I keep humming in my head is Justin Timberlake singing "Sexy Back" Weird, huh?
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!
